A Letter to you,

The year is still young, yet it has already asked much of us. I want to begin with gratitude — for your patience, your understanding, and your trust. To those who adjusted their schedules as I navigated a difficult start to the year, thank you. For those unaware, I live with an autoimmune disease called Sarcoidosis. The flare-up I experienced earlier this year was among my worst, but the storm is passing, and I am returning to my work with renewed purpose.

Now, a few important updates:

-Booking Announcements-
In early April, my books will open first to my existing clients—those I have tattooed before, particularly those in the midst of larger projects. This round of bookings will cover late April through August, so even if your ideas are still taking shape, I encourage you to reserve your time.

A week later, I will open my schedule to the public to fill any remaining spaces. Once those are claimed, my books will close again until the next cycle.

-A Space for Thought & Conversation-
I am introducing Wednesday morning consultation hours from 10 AM – 1 PM. This will happen every other Wednesday. Think of this as an open study—a place to refine ideas, exchange inspiration, and ensure that your tattoo feels entirely yours before the ink meets skin. If you wish to sit with your thoughts and collaborate more deeply, this time is for you.

-Art & Accessibility-
The weight of the world feels heavier these days, and I know many of you are approaching financial decisions with greater care. If the cost of a tattoo seems daunting, remember that it does not have to be done all at once—sessions can be spaced apart, with outlines first, then shading, then detail. I am also adding a section to my booking form where you can be transparent about your budget. My aim is not just to create art, but to ensure it remains within reach. Your support allows me to care for my own family, and in return, I wish to make this experience as seamless as possible for you.

That is all for now. Keep an eye out for my next letter before bookings open. The sun lingers a little longer in the sky these days, and with it comes the promise of new creations and new stories to be told in ink.

With appreciation,
Ceferina Vale
